Businesses, channels, and creators
A tracked brand can be a business, hotel, restaurant, channel, or creator. Approved names and aliases identify mentions in AI answers. A website is optional. Without a verified domain, citation rate is unavailable rather than zero. A channel or public-profile link does not prove ownership of the platform domain. These measurements do not report YouTube search rankings, subscribers, or channel analytics.
Independent questions
Each approved question is sent in a fresh request. The target brand and competitors are not inserted into hidden context. The question language and requested market are recorded. A requested market is not a simulated user location.
Counting methodology
Count each tracked brand at most once per valid response, using approved aliases with word boundaries and documented Arabic normalization. Brand mention rate divides responses mentioning the target by valid responses. Citation rate divides responses citing a verified target domain by valid responses. Share of mentions divides target brand-response mentions by all tracked brand-response mentions.
Sources and opportunities
Source coverage counts distinct verified-brand cited domains and URLs. Opportunity gaps are observations where a tracked competitor appears and the target does not. Failed requests are excluded from metric denominators and shown separately.
Comparison and limitations
Compare periods only when approved questions, tracked entities, provider/model settings, language, repetitions, and methodology match. Generated answers vary. Small samples are descriptive, not representative market statistics. No proprietary composite visibility score is used.
Provider coverage
Perplexity Sonar API provides web-grounded answers; Google Gemini API uses model knowledge without web search. Separate Apify collectors record ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity search answers and cited sources. Collector builds are recorded; underlying model versions are not disclosed. Apify uses the US country setting. These results do not establish Qatar-local or personalised answers. Availability requires verified configuration and a measurement allowance.
